Refinery API separators sludge, tank bottoms, lagoon oily sediment and Oil-Base Mud Drill Cuttings have been separated into useful oil, water, and clean solids that meet regulatory disposal standards.

 

Contaminated Soils

Contaminated soils from oil fields, refineries and fuel facilities have been successfully washed, including solids that were effectively "unwashable" by other existing soil washing processes, and which resisted conventional biodegradation methods. The ZHAOHE process reduced the hydrocarbon content by 99.1%-99.9; the TPH was reduced to below 100 ppm.
